DOHERTY DOES TIME

Pete Doherty is spending this weekend inside - he pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and was refused bail. He's going to be sentenced on February 8th; it's fairly safe to assume there won't be many Babyshambles dates before then.

    You're joking, right? With the Johnny Cash biopic coming out and buskers being paid £40 a pop to sing Cash songs, it'd be amiss of Sony not to sponsor Pete on a Brit-version of "At Folsum Prison". Though, given his track record, whether he actually turns up to that gig, is anyone's guess.
