Having seen what an virtually unfettered beast Pete Doherty's Babyshambles project produced, god alone knows what we should expect with an album that doesn't even have the pretence of being a group work to protect it. It sounds like the
label is slightly edgy about quality control, on the new Babyshambles one too:
"I think it's pretty much done. It's just now trying to convince the record company that everything doesn't need to be highly polished."
Let's hope they can at least compromise on 'mostly listenable', then.
