News of the World struggles with Macca-Mills story

We're imaging that there are two bylines on this morning's News of the World story about the McCartney/Mills divorce because for one person to write a single piece which claims both that relations are so affable between the pair that Paul lavished generous birthday gifts upon Heather, and so bad that Mills is spying on McCartney, might make that journalist implode under the weight of internal contradictions.

Mills, the paper claims, has attempted to film Paul drinking during the day. Eh? Why?

Heather is terrified he will apply for full custody of four-year-old daughter Beatrice when their divorce hearing resumes next month.

So she desperately hopes to snatch film footage of him DRUNK during the day.

Apparently, the NOTW believes that Mills thinks she's divorcing David Hasselhoff.
