At least 21 gigs have been planned for the UK and there are talks of a US date – possibly the Coachella Festival in California. The gigs will coincide with the re-release of the band’s self-titled debut album.
It's exciting news for younger fans who never got a chance to see how bloody awful the band were live.
Still, I wouldn't believe it until there's a mumbling press conference.
"the re-release of the band’s self-titled debut album"
ReplyDeleteSurely they're just taking the proverbial urine now? I mean this album must now have been re-released more times than The Seahorses album was even listened to!!!
Let's see now... just off the top of my head there was the original version, the US version, the version with Fool's Gold, the "Complete" Stone Roses (I think had pretty much the whole album), the 10th anniversary edition and that card eco version that seems to be overstocked in the shops. And the funny thing is I don't own the album in any form.
