Today

We should have been settling down to discover how Radio One would be celebrating John Peel's 70th birthday.

Still much, much missed.

    And as I read this I look to see what's actually on Radio 1 just now. Fearne Cotton. Oh dear.

    I also decided to look to see how they are spending the bank holiday tomorrow. A "10 hour takeover" whatever that is. I can't really see how it is any different from any other day.
