Now, as rock and roll injuries go, being bitten by a lion is quite cool. It's only slightly diminished by Russell Lissack having been in an animal sanctuary when it happened.
"Fey indie strummer bitten by a kitten" doesn't have the same ring really, does it? An old school friend's dad was eaten by a bear. Now *that's* rock 'n' roll. Or an unfortunate hiking accident. On eo fthe two, certainly.
Bitten by lion, sure, rock and roll....a lion cub as it goes on to say, not so rock and roll.
