Darren Hayman wants you dancing

Darren Hayman's January Songs project is looking for some help today:

For today’s January Songs I need your help with making the video. I want people to film themselves dancing. If you download this MP3 of a beat at 95 BPM then I will be able to make you all dance in time with the finished track. Make sure the track can be heard in the video.
You can get the track, and find all the other details over on Darren's Tumblr.

Darren Hayman wants your piano pictures

Do you have photos of people gathered round a piano? The Kilroy teamDarren Hayman wants to hear from you:

Here's what I want from you. I want to make a video comprised of 100s of photos of pianos. I want all of the photos to be sourced or 'found' and rarely staged. I want photos that already exist. The idea is that the piano photos would present a chronolgy, so we start with the oldest photo first onto the most modern. For that reason what I really want is your old family photos and even better photos of your grandparents and earlier.
You can find out why, and more on what he's looking for, over on his website.

Kittie want you

If you're in New York, and feel like helping out Kittie, they want you to appear in a video.

Terms and conditions apply:

MyGoodEye producer Allison Woest states: "We are shooting a '20s-era, speakeasy/burlesque music video for KITTIE, and are looking for fans to participate! If you would like to be in the video and have '20s-era nighttime social clothing to participate in the debauchery, please get in touch! Males and females both welcome. The video will be shot during the day on Sunday, July 26 in New York City. If you are interested, please send an email to: casting@mgenyc.com."

It's a pity; I'm in England and my 1920s-era nighttime social clothing is all at the dry cleaners. But you might be more lucky.

Billy Corgan seeks new friend. Yes, let's say 'friend'.

Jimmy Chamberlain having recently departed the not-even-quite-reformed-before-that Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan has to fill a hole in the band.

He's doing what anybody would do and advertising:

"Auditions will be held Friday, April 10 in Los Angeles for drummers who are looking to play with THE SMASHING PUMPKINS. They should send their background info, photos and performance web links via email only to: pumpkinsdrummer@gmail.com."

Presumably he's hoofing it round the music shops and record stores of California with photocopies and blutac.
