I, AN ACTOR-WRITER

Apparently, his not-especially well-received part in the not-warmly-reviewed Mrs Henderson Presents has got Will Young skipping about singing "Hi-diddle-dee-dee, an actor's life for me." But not just acting, oh no: Will has a script what he wrote, too, and he's hoping that now he's been in a film, there's every chance it'll be made.

Apparently it's something he's "worked on for years - it's semi-autobiographical." But if he's been working on it that long, it must predate his brief period of fame after he won the game show, so what the hell is it about?

Oh, that, eh? Yes, Hollywood is rushing to make coming-of-age movies about gay lads...
