If an album doesn't get a Mercury, does it really exist?

Marc B emails with a link to this snapshot of a BBC News trailer which gets excited about the "second" Antony and the Johnsons album. Second, of course, if you don't count the one before the Mercury winning one.

It's since been updated to "follow-up", so someone at Newsbeat had their wits about them.

Is the art of basic research completely gone? It really does irritate me that so many people writing about music aren't willing to actually learn even the most basic facts about their subjects. Hell even a cursory glance at a press release (which the writer presumably received) would've given him the facts. It really sounds petty but it just says to me that the writer isn't qualified to be doing what he is.
