THE GOOD DOG: Apparently, the Labour Party have been known to ring Damon Albarn up and asked him to not make the political statements he's been making (this according to Alex, writing in this week's New Statesman.) So, are we to conclude that the Blair machine would rather our popstars behave like this, instead: "I don't understand all these pop stars saying 'We should have a democratic debate about the war' opinion means nothing. The people in the White House can change this, I play guitar in a band and we're really good. Arsed about anything else."
