SOME FURTHER CLARITY: Just before Christmas, there was an odd moment when Snoop Dogg launched a lawsuit which said little more than I Never, and if she says I did then she's a LIAR. And the world just went "Eh? Oh... right" and pretended to be interested in a poster about ticket sales on the wall instead. Now, though, we know what it is Dogg says he never did: Kylie Bell claims she was drugged and rapped by Snoop and his buddies backstage at the Jimmy Kimmel show. Bell is suing the production company as well, saying they "knew that sexually oriented misconduct ... was reasonably foreseeable". Oh, and Disney and ABC into the bargain. According to legal papers, an ABC subsidiary has been paying Bell's expenses since she came forward in May 2003. The assault is alleged to have happened on January 31st, 2003, but the legal action has been sparked after Snoop's insurance company refused to settle his side of an out-of-court agreement. Wait a minute: Snoop has rape insurance?
