VIRGIN LOSES IT

A curiosity in the current advertising campaign for Virgin Radio: at the end of the advert, the station's frequency is given as "104.9FM in London and Digital nationwide", or words to that effect. Which means they've appeared to have dropped their AM frequency altogether, at least from their promotions. Very modern and forward-looking, but we wonder if it's not a tad premature.

It might be a bit hard for them to use 104.9 FM in London, seeing as that's what XFM use...

Ah, I did say "words to that effect" - it's 1215 round here, and 1215 it remains
