GONZALES PROPOSES JAIL FOR COPYRIGHT ABUSERS

Since the war on Iraq has been a bit of a boomerang, and the war on terror isn't really going so well, and the war on drugs hasn't been a resounding success, it seems the US government is desperate to find a war it can win. So things are being jacked up in the War On Pressing Play And Record, with US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales proposing a toughening of copyright laws which would criminalize Americans making any copies of music without strict permission, even if they failed to do so.

Presumably, once the RIAA has sued the twelve year-old girls, then the Department of Justice would come in and cart them off to Guantanamo.

Damn, there I was thinking you meant the Jewish-Canadian rapper-turned-pianist Chilli Gonzales (aka Jason Beck aka The Worst MC). Any news on him?
