Sure, anyone can write a song about Kennedy. But using actual reportage to recreate the murder of Kennedy - and his killer? That's pro work, that is. Steinski pulled it off, and then gave the track away for free on an NME covermount.
Class.

Its usual for mashups to be given away for free. That way, instead of the record companies that own the old samples getting uppity because someone has had the temerity to put new life into them, they get a no-quibble percentage of exactly what they deserve, namely nowt.
