Ghoul has gawper-peepshow plans rejected; now left with expensive house

Oh, if only Sarah Beeney had been on hand filming as Christian Audigier rushed to buy the house in which Michael Jackson was hooked to his final drip. You can hear her saying "buying the house and turning it into a museum to fleece cash from the more heartless of ghouls is a high-risk investment. Without planning, this could wind up being a rushed purchase, over-price, with no hope of making the money back."

And so it has proved to be, as the local council has refused permission to turn the building into a public space. Still, I bet Audigier has a plan B, right? The student letting market always seem to be a solid fall-back to judge by Homes Under The Hammer.
