Reclaim Northside

Unlikely reunions keep coming thick and fast: now, Northside are prepared to face down the blame again. They've got a tour lined-up and everything, though sadly without the Pale Saints.

Everytime I find something embarrassing and grim from my late 80s - early 90s record collection I think, 'they can never come back'. Then they do. Northside, for the love of Jesus. Coming soon: woodentops, death by milkfloat, I ludicrous, the high, senseless things, elecro hippies, mighty lemon drops ... AGGGGHHHH just mentioning them may bring them into being like BEETLEGEUSE

Sorry for the double posting. The first posting magicked the second into life. And awakened Loop from their slumber under the hill. Great blog, btw, have read this for a year of constant laughs.

Schmeals, the one that worries me the most is The High, whose return would surely mean we'd only be a step away from Chapterhouse reforming themselves.

The High, I seem to remember, released a record in some sort of hessian sack which might be the world's cheapest limited edition of all time...

Oh god. I have that. I have a number of High-related limited editions. I dread when my parents die, not simply for the inevitable sense of loss and grief, but for the terminal embarrassment caused when I fish these out of the loft. I am also sure there are some Birdland limited editions there too.
