Last month's sacking of its Captain America slot at least made some sort of sense in the context of it's trudge towards drudge in the playlist, but the sacking of Daryl Denham and - even more oddly, the bemusingly popular Jezza, whose late night Confessions slot got the network tonnes of positive press. Mind you, Virgin keep insisting there's nothing desperate about the situation.
