A BAD WEEK FOR UNIVERSAL: It's bad enough that the business with Irv Gotti has left their interests in Murder Inc looking like a bit of a liability, but Universal are also getting grief from Puff Daddy over their relationship with Bad Boy Entertainment. Diddy is huffy that Universal hasn't put much oomph into marketing; Universal say they won't spend more until the label-ette starts to have some hits. Combs is said to be touring round what's left of the other major labels with a view to cutting a new deal.
