THE WORLD HERE BEING DEFINED AS THE BIT BETWEEN CARLISLE AND BRIGHTON: While we would never want to point out the weakness in Robbie Williams' success, we doubt that his title as "most popular celebrity in the World" counts for much. Apparently, its been awarded purely on the basis that he was the most-popular search term on Celebrities Worldwide - which, while a mightily useful resource, is usually turned to by British media types looking for contact details. Not quite the same thing as being on the tips of tongues of all the world, then.
