GREEN MAN STRETCHES: The Green Man Festival at Hay-On-Wye is expanding to add a third day this year, and is already sending out horrible green press details. Scheduled to run from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August, the line-up is starting to take shape:

MAIN STAGE Saturday 20 August: Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and Matt Sweeney; Alasdair Roberts; Micah P. Hinson; It's Jo and Danny; Aberfeldy; The Fence Collective; Half Cousin; Field Trip

FOLKEY DOKEY STAGE Saturday 20 August: Wizz Jones; Pedro; State River Widening; Lionshare with more TBC

MAIN STAGE Sunday 21 August: The Earlies; Entrance; The Memory Band with more TBC

FOLKEY DOKEY STAGE Sunday 21 August: James Yorkston; Tunng; My Latest Novel; Hank Dogs and, yes, more TBC

Still to be slotted in somewhere: Soft Hearted Scientists, Sweet Baboo, Hush The Many, Andrew Hockey, Elaine Palmer, Good Morning Captain, Bandyleg, Things In Herds, Charlotte Greig, Lucky Luke, Scatter plus more to be announced.
The whole lot will cost you sixty-five quid, but - if you want to take the kids - they can get in for fifteen. Under 7s can run about having fun for free.
