BUT OF COURSE YOU DO...
As if the steady stream of clapped-out actors, washed-up sportspeople and former shags of the vaguely famous trying to fill up the charts wasn't bad enough, NBC and Granada are going to encourage them with a new show - I'm A Celebrity, But I Want To Be A Pop Star. It's going to clog up American brains first of all, but doubtless it'll wind up facing down the next series of Doctor Who here, as well.
In related news, Nikki Sanderson is quitting Corrie in a bid to become... yes, of course. Let's hope it's more successful for her than when Jennifer Ellison quit Brookside for the same reasons. And let's hope she's learned something from her onscreen character's wannabe storyline, which ended up a bit of a washout:
