ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, IRELAND, WALES, OREGON, COLORADO... NATIONAL RADIO ONE
It's been available there for a while through the wonders of the internet, but Radio 1 is getting a boost in the US through a deal which brings Chris Moyles and team to the Sirrius satellite radio network. The rebroadcast will be delayed to ensure that the breakfast show appears at local breakfast time, and anyone who wants to hear anything exciting will still have to stay up until the middle of the freaking night.
Imagine: you can now be put off your breakfast and the majesty of the Rockies at the same time by Moyles. Neat.
(It could be brilliant news for bands looking to build an audience in the States, mind you.)
