UNDERAGE SEX CHARGES PUTS BAND ON ICE

Following the arrest of their lead singer on charges relating to sex with a fourteen year-old girl, Virgin Mary Suicide have put their activities on hold:

"Val has decided to take an absence from the band to focus on personal matters. We shall be on hiatus for a while, but we shall be back with a full length album ... soon. Thanx for all your support ... See you next year,"

Well... "next year" might be a bit optimistic, depending on how the case goes...
