GUY RITCHIE DESERVES SOME SORT OF HUMANITARIAN AWARD

Who knew that Guy Ritchie might one day throw himself on the guns to try and save the rest of us? Supposedly, he had a massive row with Madonna just before the MTV awards over what she was planning to wear. Luckily, there was an eavesdropping insider about:

"He wasn't happy and told her in no uncertain terms. He thinks she's too old to be wearing such skimpy things and that she should have toned it down a bit. Madonna listened to what Guy had to say but chose not to do anything about it. She went ahead and wore what she was planning to anyway. It made for a bit of an unpleasant atmosphere backstage."

Hmm. Not really a massive row at all, then. The Sunday People today reports "in spite of Guy's views, the pop queen's performance went down a storm with the fans." It's not Guy's view that he was worried about; more everybody else's.

Of course, considering Madonna attempted to put her Mabel on every coffee table in the world and has quite a bit of porn under where her belt would be, it's surprising that a leotard would upset Guy quite so much.
