LET IT GO, LITTLE STEVIE

If someone stole our favourite suit, we'd be a bit hacked off by it - but even we'd let it go after forty years. Not so Stevie Wonder: he's still brooding after somebody pinched his best suit from him in Glasgow in 1965:

"This guy called at my dressing room and said he was from a dry cleaners in Glasgow.

"He said, 'Give me your outfits and I'll get them cleaned before the second show'. He sounded sincere but he didn't bring the suit back. I hope to come to Glasgow in 2006 to find out who's got it."

We do love the trusting "he sounded sincere" - as if a crook would be using an especially sarcastic turn of voice when he tried to talk him out of his clothes. Stevie's probably lucky he wasn't a lady, otherwise he'd have probably tried to get his knickers off him, too.
