DAVE GROHL BECOMES ONE
According to a piece in this morning's Daily Record, Dave Grohl has an unexpected plan:
FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl has a secret ambition - to cover the Spice Girls.
Admittedly, the paper does miss the words "with enough concrete to make a nuclear power station safe" from the end of that sentence. (Digital viewers can press red now and see that same sentence with the 'jism' punchline.)
Dave won't play Nirvana songs any more, though:
"Those songs belong in their own place and time. I wouldn't want to ruin one of those. They were three totally different people. "
Well, one of them was a very different person, what with the still having a face back then.

Perhaps he means cover in the sense used by horse breeders?
I now have an image in my head of Dave Grohl and Mel B doing it. It wouldn't be so bad, but in the corner there's Jack Black begging if he can get a small part in this one, too.
