TOO DARK? SHE'S LESS SCARY THAN MR. TUMNUS

It sounds to us like a tactful producer trying to suggest that her work was a bit too ropey to be used, but Amy Lee has taken it as a sign of pride that her music was "too dark" for the Disneyfied Narnia:

"My darlings, if I can't write dark, epic music, I can't live. I simply won't compromise my art for anything."

We'd been trying to remember what this reminded us of, and then it hit us. It was Corrie's gothteen King and Queen Rosie Webster and Craig Harris discussing what a lot of hard work it was being Goth, with that responsibility to think about dark things all the time.
