WE WANT TO BE LIKE BEATLEBAND

Coldplay, it seems, are keen to make themselve more like The Beatles. Perhaps one of them should consider booking a room in the Dakota Buildings?

It seems what they mean is they want to match the Beatles' work rate of a couple of albums a year - so far, Coldplay are averaging about one every three years:

"When you look at people like The Beatles who knocked out a couple a year, it sort of makes us start to panic a little bit. So we're just desperate to get back into the studio."

That's fair enough, but take care the quality doesn't dip as a result - it would be awful if you wound up releasing albums that were merely flat, dull and formul... come back, I swear I wasn't taking the piss...
