FALLING QUIET ON NEW YEAR'S DAY

The joyous, fresh, crisp snap of a new year is made slightly sadder by the decison of Tom Ewing to put New York London Paris Munich to bed. We've always had a soft spot for NYLPM - and not just because it was one of the first blogs to link to us - and we'd noticed that the frequency of postings had slowed over recent months and we respect Tom's choice to move on before it died of neglect. Like The Verve once said: all farewells should be sudden, but it'll be missed.
