IMAGINARY PARTNERSHIP CAUSES FAKE POP IDOL ROW
They're still playing up the supposed feud between Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell which made the X-Factor so compelling (we know, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit). Supposedly Shayne Ward had been invited to record songs with Robbie Williams (at least, he claims Robbie had called him up and said he'd fly him out to his Los Angeles home, where the pair of them could lay down tracks, and he thinks that's what Williams meant.) Supposedly, Louis Walsh was really excited that this might extend his charge's career by an extra ten minutes. Supposedly, Simon Cowell, who owns Ward's label, insisted that Ward couldn't go. And now everyone's really upset, especially Williams who's realised that Shayne Ward isn't the cricketer.
The trouble is, you can't just turn over to Strictly Come Dancing when it's happening in the real world.
