Lily Allen has explained why she considers Bob Geldof to be "a cunt".
As if explanation was needed.
She's got him pegged as a "pompous hypocrite":
He's so self-important and takes himself far too seriously.
"He doesn't publicise that he's got a two-million quid house in Battersea and all that."
Well, no. But then he also doesn't really make a secret of it, to be fair. And we're not entirely sure that alone is enough to brand him a hypocrite as such, unless he'd actually been caught suggesting other people sell their houses in order to support starving Africans while refusing to sell their own. Her vaginal epithet, though, may be a fair one for a man who is doing very nicely out of the present conditions pretending to be one of the masses.

I saw her being interviewed on "Transmission with T-Mobile" on C4 back in June. Amusingly when she was asked by Steve Jones whether she had described Geldof as a "James Blunt" she replied "a cunt". I couldn't judge whether she meant he was better than a "James Blunt" or worse. (Is Blunt a 'cunt' or just a 'sad cunt' - it's a hard call. Perhaps he's a 'Steve Jones'). She then explained as far as I can recall that she thought Geldof was a "sanctimonious prat". All rather dog bites man frankly. At least she wasn't singing at that moment.
