DO NOEL GALLAGHER'S WORK FOR HIM

The cynics amongst you may wonder if the competition being run by Oasis to "guess" the tracklisting for Please Make It Stop (sorry, Stop The Clocks), the best-of album, really is what it seems.

Presumably the Gallaghers have the same problem telling their later work apart as the rest of us, and rather than try and work out if the Hindu Times is more or less deserving of a slot on the collection than Lyla, they're going to get people to "guess" the tracklisting, choose one at random and post that off to the record label.

Still, you can win a free trip to one of the cities where the Oasis on-the-road backstage film, Lord Don't Slow Me Down, premieres, so it's quite a nice prize. Although if someone gave us tickets to fly to Tokyo for free, the last thing we'd do when we got there would be traipse off to see a movie of Liam Gallagher in his knickers.
