Good news for Kevin Iwoulddoanythingforaline, as Stereogum reports he's to be the ridiculous part of this season's CSI embracing of the musical sublime and ridiculous.
The sublime is a product-placement appearance by John Mayer as himself - we imagine he'll just be noodling in the background and won't be turning out to be the killer.
Federline, meanwhile, is going to play a teenage hoodlum who hassles the investigating team. He seems thrilled that he's already being typecast as a tiresome idiot getting under everyone's feet, and who are we to rain on his parade?
