Ho-ho; very droll, sir: Mick Jagger has made a joke about Wembley Stadium while playing Twickenham:

“Wembley will be finished in time for the Arctic Monkeys’ farewell tour.”

Although that only works as a gag if you believe the Arctic Monkeys have a long future ahead of them.

Of course, Britain does have a bit of a rubbish record on public infrastructure projects. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if rich men like Jagger and his chums didn't pretend to be Dutch when it comes to the end of the tax year and withheld their share of the contribution to the public purse.
