Nothing but blue skies from now on...

Hoping it will take people's minds off the threats of kidnap, militant Christian intercession, terrorism and building collapse, they're going to try and keep skies blue for Madonna's Moscow gig by forcing the clouds to drop their rain before they reach the capital.

They did the same thing for McCartney when he played Red Square a few years back - to be honest, we think the Russian air force is so keen to show off it'd do it for a family picnic these days. And, after all, fannying about with the weather - what could possibly go wrong? (Apart from the 35 people killed when the RAF tried it and flooded Lynmouth, of course.)
