Fergie: the unquiet soul
It turns out that like Thatcher, Fergie gets up to work in the middle of the night:
"You can't assume any success.
"Usually artists spend time in the studio recording an album, then they do prep, then they do press. And then they tour.
"Most find it hard but I love it.
"I even get up at three in the morning sometimes to work."
Aha... that explains why much of the record sounds like it's written by someone in their sleep, then.
