It Fell Off The Back Of A Lorry

The Two Moors Festival spent two years fundraising in order to gather the £45,000 it needed to buy a Bosendorfer grand piano. Having hit its target, the new instrument was sent on its way to a public performance in Exmoor. Where it fell off the lorry. They now fear they're left with a write-off.

What I want to know is: who was taking the pictures? Was the photographer in any way responsible? The public deserves to know.

when I saw pictures of this in this morning's Metro (who had devoted the whole of page 3, inc. comedy typography) I felt really sorry for the bloke with his hands on head...isn't it a bit like the school canteen when someone drops a tray and everyone cheers? only it was a £45000 piano that a load of people had chipped in for and the whole world is laughing! and I reckon that all the millions of people chuckling at a news story like this could cause a tidal wave somewhere (see also World's Tallest Man Puts Arm Inside Dolphin To Save Its Life)

Yeah, saw this in yesterdays london lite. the piano was £26,000 at auction but £45,000 to replace.

Unfortuantly it was only insured for the £26,000 payed out. Ooops!
