The Johannson and Mary Chain
Back when I was a kid, the news that the Jesus And Mary Chain were coming to town was a guarantee you were in for trouble - fighting, spitting, inept drumming, that sort of thing. Nowadays, though, it's your pass to a-list cosmetic company spokespersons doing backing vocals.
Scarlett Johannson is signed up to do backing vocals for the band's Coachella warm-up in Pomona, California. It is unknown if her role will include spitting or throwing things.

Backing vocals? A wasted opportunity - surely she's already on a par with Bobby Gillespie in tub-thumping terms.
