Brown "beaten and robbed" by sex workers

The facts are harder to tease out than the hair extensions in the story of Foxy Brown, the ex-boyfriend and the women he pimps.

It seems, from what the New York Daily News has been able to gather, that Brown discovered her boyfriend was a pimp on Saturday, promptly dumped him, causing him to turn round and set three of his women on her. In the ensuing ding-dong, Brown lost her hearing aid, chunks of her hair extensions, her credit cards and five hundred bucks.

The police were called, charges were laid, but, oddly, Brown seems to have realised that even though this time she was the victim of a crime, it might not actually be a good move, career-wise:

Brown, who stopped cooperating with cops soon after the incident, dispatched a bodyguard from her Brooklyn brownstone to tell reporters yesterday that "the story is falsified."

Some poor sod in a courtroom somewhere is going to have to try and sort that one out.
