I salute their indefatigability
You'll have been wondering, of course, what George Galloway's opinion of The Spice Girls reunion is. Naturally, a man who is comfortable hanging out with Saddam Hussein isn't fazed by their return:
D'YOU know what? I really, really want the Spice Girls' reunion. It's fashionable to diss their DNA-tested, silicone breast enhanced and well-tucked present persona, but I'm a sucker for nostalgia. They were the original Cheeky Girls, a kind of Hard Day's Night era Beatles. Zany, British and fun. And since they didn't have much talent to begin with, at least we won't think they've gone downhill when they come back.
We're not entirely sure why George thinks we want to know this - but if Victoria Newton ever hangs up her stirrups, we think we know who's next in line to helm Bizarre.

I was dubious when take that got back together but they went on to produce a cracking pop album.
I suppose the difference is Gary Barlow. Can the Spice Girls write a song as cracking as 'Shine'?... Me thinks not.
Er, didn't Mark Owen write 'Shine'?
He did, I think.
And doesn't it sound a bit like the 'Thomas the Tank Engine' theme?
