Retailers locked out of the Prince love-in

Somewhat hilariously, the uppity foot-stamping of the music retailers over the giveaway of the Prince album in the Mail On Sunday has ended up shooting them in the very foot they were stamping. Sony BMG have "exempted" retailers from having to worry about the album altogether. In other words, the retailers' threats about blacklisting the album from their stores is a bluff that has been called.
