Foos: On a break

Dave Grohl appeared on the Chris Moyles show this morning and announced that the Foo Fighters were going to be taking a long, long break.

What prompted the decision to pull back from having to make and promote albums?

The clue could be in that Dave Grohl was having to talk to Chris Moyles early in the morning.

At the "top" of the interview Grohl announced that he was very happy to be speaking to Moyles at midnight in LA (Moyles is robbing the license payer by staging his show from LA for a week) and declared it was his peak time of day......the clue was perhaps in the story that followed about Ghrol being flattened by the Fat One's security at a recent meeting in Brighton. Listen to it on the Moyles podcast. It reflects very well on Grohl and not at all well on Moyles.

Surely it reflects worse on the security goon?
But yeah, all credit to Grohl for being good about it. And this is his second time on the show since then, so he obviously doesn't bear a grudge.
