Galaxy 102.2 gets in touch with its audience

Global Radio are probably wishing they'd removed all local programming from their network, after someone managed to break into West Midlands Galaxy 102.2 and started to swear on air, apparently. The phrase "I'm still fucking here" might have been heard, depending on who you choose to believe.

Police arrested the intruder, although it's believed John Noel Management is offering to represent him.

Thank goodness for networking. Soon costly, amateurish attacks like this will be a thing of the past. Rather than having dozens of intruders breaking into every station actross the country to shout incoherent obscenities, we'll be able to hear Liam from Big Brother and sidekick Suzanne Shaw invading one studio in London to yell a succession of well-produced, carefully-scripted swearwords.

They've done the research, you know. Listeners not only don't mind it, they actually prefer it.
