Avril Lavigne sticks to her word
You'll recall Avril Lavigne's pledge, back in 2003I won't wear skanky clothes that show off my booty, my belly or boobs".
But, of course, the workaround to that rule is, if the clothes that show off your booty, your belly and your boobs have been chosen by Italian Vogue.

The thing I find with Avril Lavigne is when she dresses like that she looks like a little girl that has been playing in the dressing up box. I think Jodie Foster was 14 when she played Talulah in Bugsy Malone and Avril seems to have perfected that look in the Vogue shoot.
... which might be intentional, I suppose. Given she's been pretending to be a teenager well into her mid-20s, perhaps she's pulling off a cunning trick of being an adult looking like a teenager trying to dress like a grown-up.
Possible, however implausible.
And she appears in some severely "skimpy" underwear at the start of her new video. The song has some laugh-out-loud dreadful lyrics
"All my life I've been good but now, woah, I'm thinking what the hell"
In other words - pass me the g-string I've got records to sell
