Death, be not proud

News of a Suicide date in London is always to be welcomed, so try not to let the fact it's a support slot for Nick Cave's Tin Machine sideshow Grinderman disappoint too much. 20th June at the Forum, although it's already sold out, apparently. Which is quite disappointing.

Seeds of an idea

We're sure it brings him no pleasure whatsoever - what with life being so grim, and everything - but Nick Cave is preparing a new Bad Seeds album, despite currently touting his Grinderman record:

"Now I'm writing the new Bad Seeds one. We're going to record it either June or July."

Presumably to benefit from the opportunity to run through fields of wild flowers with the sun in his hair between recordings.
