IF IT WERE US, WE'D BE A BIT PISSED OFF: The idea behind ITV's trails for the Brit awards are cute enough: the bands of today, pictured at some unspecified moment in the future, looking back to the great time they had at the 25th anniversary. The trouble is, of course, they manage to be unfair to both older people ("ha ha, look at the elderly man wearing young people's clothes") but also the very talent the awards are meant to be praising - so, for example, Ana Matronic is portrayed as a vapid bubble-head barely able to string a word together, much less a full phrase. Not very well-considered.
