EBAY TO BOB: OKAY, JUST SHUT UP

Probably less because they thought he was right, more because they wanted him to stop honking on about how right-thinking people should bring Ebay down, Ebay have banned the sale of Live 8 tickets. Geldof attacked the concept of "filthy money made on the back of the poorest people on the planet."

In other news, that was some sort of record with over two million texts being sent in the lottery, isn't it? The phone operator's charges on each one of those texts... would that also be filthy, Bob, or is live 8 partner O2 somehow different?

He's still using the "electronic pimp" line now, like some backbencher who's come up with an insult for the other party's leader and is going to repeat it until everyone regards him as a great wit, even though everyone just thinks he's a cunt.

I'm looking forward to Bob vehemently objecting to any "Live 8" displays that appear in HMV and the likeon the Monday afterwards. After all, making money off of etc etc.
