FURTHER REACTIONS
It seems the main work the Jackson camp is now starting on is to try and change the public perception of the Martin Bashir Living With Michael Jackson documentary - we've heard a couple of Jacko friends suggesting that the whole trial was Bashir's fault, and that somehow Bashir had managed to edit suspiscion out of nowhere. They're presumably hoping that if they say it often enough, people will forget there was nothing in the edit which forced Jackson to happily trill about having other people's kids sleep in his bed.
Talking on Today, Uri Geller told John Humphrys (sorry, could someone go and stop Brian Redhead from spinning in his grave?) that he was sorry he ever introduced Bashir to Jacko - Gellar suggested he'd been more-or-less tricked into it because Bashir had shown him a letter from Princess Diana. (Isn't Geller meant to be the one who does the spooky mind-control stuff?) At the same time, Uri also claimed he was always warning Jackson that the public wouldn't look kindly on him talking about having kids for sleepovers. It makes you wonder why Uri thought that his friend would benefit from having a camera crew follow him around while simultaneously worrying that Jackson was too quick to talk openly about his habits.
According to Five Live, the official Jackson website is currently comparing him to Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela; the page won't load for us, which might prove that web servers can fall over through shame.
