It's a strange gig where the most exciting thing about the bill is Lenny Henry hosting, but even so, we're sure you'll want to tell your grandchildren you went to Live 8 Scotland - and, frankly, if you're enticed by that bill, chances are you've already got quite a few grandkids. Rumours abound that the Proclaimers will open with "500 Miles," because Bob really expects people to walk from London to Edinburgh and then back again. For justice, like.
Of course, that's 413 miles - one way, so they'd have to change the lyrics slightly.
Mind you, the thing about that song is that the singer was going to walk 500 miles in an ultimately pointless to convince a person he cared about something. How very different from... oh... hang on...
