GLASTO SPONSORSHIP ROW
The headline, of course, is that Mani has quit his djing slot at Glastonbury, because the sponsor of the tent he was due to play, Bidweiser, is also a sponsor of Manchester United. Mani has a grudge, then:
“I’m not having anything to do with Budweiser or any of the other United sponsors like Vodafone and Nike until they stand up to Glazer and help get him out of our club.”
The wider question, here, though, is: what exactly is a stage at Glastonbury doing being sponsored by a mulitinational company in the first place? Never mind Man U being up for sale - isn't Glastonbury meant to be the exact opposite of that sort of thing?
Will the Stone Circle be looking to get support from Jeep?
